Preference will be given to two applicants from the same school, one supported by sponsorship, one paying, so that schools can gain maximum benefit from teachers’ attendance, allowing for effective sharing and supporting of experience within the follow-up phase. You must send in both course application forms and sponsorship application form at the same time in order to qualify.
How to apply
To apply for sponsorship, download the sponsorship application form from the Science Learning Centre South East website. Complete the form and obtain a counter-signature from your Head or Principal. Send the completed form, together with your course application form (both forms if there are two applicants from the same school, although only one can claim sponsorship – see above) and send to the Science Learning Centre South East, Level 3, The Graham Hills Building 29, University of Southampton, Highfield, Southampton SO17 1BJ or fax to 023 8059 8811. Sponsorship will be awarded on a first come-first served basis, so please apply early.
Terms and conditions
The payment of sponsorship is subject to the course running – the Science Learning Centre South East reserves the right to withdraw the offer of sponsorship in the event of the cancellation of the course to which sponsorship is attached.
You may NOT apply for any additional sponsorship or funding for courses in addition to this application.
Sponsorship is non-transferable between individuals or courses unless permission is granted by the Science Learning Centre South East.
The Science Learning Centre South East, Southampton reserves the right to make the final decision on the awarding of sponsorship. All decisions are final.
