Impact Award Bursaries available

In order to make the most of your school CPD budget, look out
for the Impact Award Logo!

Thanks to generous funding from the DCSF some of our core
courses are now eligible for Impact Awards.
Awards are for £200 per day to contribute towards the course fee and
other costs.
Standard course fees are only £125 per day, though several
of our courses are already subsidised. So in most cases the Impact Award will
pay for your fees and also contribute towards other costs.
If the course you are interested in is marked with the
Impact Award logo then it is eligible for one of these courses.
Only teachers and lecturers from state
maintained secondary schools or FE colleges, who enrol onto eligible courses
may apply for these awards. (However, we do, from time to time, have funded
bursaries available on other courses – please see CPD Bursaries, below)
To qualify for an award you will need to demonstrate how
your attendance on a Science Learning Centre CPD event will have an impact on
your school or college.
Shortly after you have applied for a place on a course you
will be sent details of our Three Stage Impact Process. Simply complete these
forms to secure your bursary.
You MUST
apply for a place on a course before you submit your application for an Impact
Award.
You can download a full list of eligible courses here or have a look at this page.
